Upon his second coming, will Christ call the few remaining Jews with Jewish blood to establish another kingdom in the city of Jerusalem?

By Wendell Tenison

Introduction:

About fifteen years ago, the Jews admittted that their nation was about 70% European blood. The stock of Abraham, the full blooded Jew, by attrition is being phased out by cross breeding. Not that it really matters, because all of the records of lineage were destroyed by Titus, the Roman general who totally obliterated Jerusalem and the temple in A.D. 70. Zion was plowed as a field, the carnage of Jerusalem as heaps and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forrest, Micah 3:12; Jeremiah 26:18. According to Josehpus, Wars of the Jews, chapter two, book 7, Terentius Rufus the Roman commander, plowed the temple with a plowshear. Only the portion of one wall was left so that all passers-by would know that a city really did exists there. This was the end of the world for the Jewish nation. The land now called Israel was given to the Jews by the UN in 1948. History bears out the fact that as early as the Babylonian Captivity, there were those of Babylonia (Iraq), who became Jews in order to escape the wrath of Esther who by the king's decree had 810 plus 75,000 of the land murdered, Esther 8:17; 9:6, 13-16.

However, the majority of the Jews remained in Babylon and learned their banking skills. Also, the thirty volumes of the Babylonian Talmud of which are the Jews laws today, originated from Babylon and not God.

King Herod the Great and the six Herods to follow him as kings were from the land of the Edomites (Idumaea), the descendants of Esau, which bordered Israel on the south. John Hycrannus, the high priest of the Jews who was appointed by Julius Caesar, went with his army into Idumaea and forced the inhabitants to either be circumcised and become Jews or leave the country. They chose to become Jews. After Herod the Great was made king, he had John Hycrannus murdered. This was the first of the Jewish proselytes.

The next time that we have a record of those who claimed to be Jews and were not is found in the book of Revelation by the apostle John.

Rev 2:9 "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

Rev 3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee."

The cliche today is, "Oh do not speak against the Jews, because Jesus is coming back to take them to Jerusalem and set up his kingdom." A great many denominational preachers advance this doctrine that when Christ returns, he will gather the Jews and establish his kingdom in the city of Jerusalem. They say, Jesus came to the earth to set up his kingdom, but because of the Jews resisting it, he established his church instead. They are saying, that God was intimidated and succumbed to the will of the Pharisees, Scribes and chief priests. This doctrine is only a figment of their imaginations, seeing that it is totally foreign to the new testament. Why is this doctrine so widely accepted? The answer is simple; when people are illiterate of the bible they will accept anything from those whom they believe to be bible scholars. Why are the blind leading the blind regarding a revival of a Jewish kingdom? I have no idea.

The kingdom of Christ:

Dan 7:13-14 "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him......And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."

Notice that this prophecy of Jesus (one like the Son of man) came in the clouds to receive his kingdom which is an everlasting dominion.

Mat 24:30 "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

In the twenty fourth chapter of Matthew, Jesus is giving a precise account of the destruction of Jerusalem that would occur in A. D. 70. Jesus is saying, that the prophecy of Daniel will be fulfilled at this time. This was inauguration day for the crowning of the glorious King of Kings, Prince of Peace and Lord of Lords.

Mat 16:28 "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."

Mark 9:1 "And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power."

Luke 9:27 "But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God."

According to the doctrines of men, there are a great many to whom Jesus spoke who have not died and are now living somewhere in the twenty first century, because they would not taste of death until they have seen the Son of man coming with great power in his kingdom. That is, because they say, that Jesus has not yet established his kingdom.

Luke 21:31-32 "So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand......Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled."

Mat 24:34 "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

In his account of the destruction of Jerusalem, Jesus gives two indisputable facts in these three verses. First, the kingdom of God is nigh at hand; second, that generation would not pass away until all of the events took place.

Mat 16:18-19 "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it......And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

The apostle Peter was given the keys to open the kingdom on the day of Pentecost.

Luke 11:20 "But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you."

Luke 12:31-32 "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you......Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

Here again, Jesus is promising the kingdom to them.

Luke 17:20-21 "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:.....Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

John 18:36 "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence."

Sorry false teachers; his kingdom did not come by observation and neither is it of this world. Under no circumstance is his kingdom earthly.

Mat 21:42-46 "Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?.....Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof......And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder......And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them......But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet."

Those spiteful leaders of the Jews hated and murdered him, therefore, his kingdom was taken from them and given to the Gentiles. But, entrance into his kingdom was given to the receptive Jews first and then to the Gentiles, Romans 1:16.

Note: Jesus did not set one foot upon the earth and neither will he set his feet upon the earth when he returns the second time, but the Father giving him his throne in the clouds as a scepter of righteouness, the scepter of his kingdom, Hebrews 1:8.

1 Th 4:15-17 "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep......For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:.....Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

The kingdom now established:

The next verses will clearly show that the kingdom had been established and that a great many had gained entry into it. Acts the second chapter clearly defines that the kingdom (the church) was established on the day of Pentecost:

Acts 14:22 "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."

Heb 12:28 "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:"

Col 1:13 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:"

Rev 1:9 "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ."

1 Th 2:12 "That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory."

2 Th 1:5 "Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:"

Col 4:11 "And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me."

2 Tim 4:1 "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;"

There are still more to come.

Mat 13:41-42 "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;....And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone has their ticket punched, especially some of those in his kingdom when he returns. Playing church will not float in the day of judgment. Peter said:

1 Pet 4:17-18 "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?.....And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?"

Obedience to the gospel is mandatory; Jesus will gather out of his kingdom those who offend and do iniquity and cast them into the furnace of fire along with all the rest who refuse to obey the gospel of Christ. Obedience is a dirty word among the denominations.

There is great conflict between the doctrine of my Lord and the doctrines of devils.

1 Tim 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"

1 Cor 15:23-24 "But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming......Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power."

False teachers say that when Jesus comes back he will set up his kingdom with the Jews in Jerusalem. The apostle paul says that when Jesus comes he will deliver up the kingdom back to his Father. Someone is lying! Who is it? You figure it out.

Rom 3:4 "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged."

Inheritance of Israel was conditional:

2 Ki 21:8 "Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them."

Mal 3:13-14 "Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?.....Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?"

The condition was that they had to keep the law of Moses, but they despised his ordinances.

2 Chr 7:19-22 "But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;.....Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations......And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?.....And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them."

Any bible student knows that Israel did exactly what God told them not to do. After Israel was carried away into Syrian captivity and Juda into Babylonian captivity because of their rebellion to God, that marked the end of national prominence. Never again would they rise to be a national power. We all know that the only reason the State of Israel exists is because the United States keeps them propped up with weapons of mass destruction.

Rom 11:5-8 "Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace......And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work......What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.....(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day."

Only a remnant would be spared according to the word of God and the rest were blinded because of their transgressions.

John 12:40 "He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."

If any man refuses to obey the commands of God, he will give him much help to be lost.

2 Th 2:10-12 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved......And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:.....That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Don't mess with God!

Gal 3:10-13 "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them......But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith......And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them......Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:"

No Jew could justified by the law of Moses, because it was impossible for him to keep it. Every Jew was under the law of Moses and therefore, living under the curse. But, Jesus was made a curse for them and us by hanging on a tree, because under the law hanging was a curse.

Eph 2:15 "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;"

Col 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;"

Jesus abolished in his flesh the law of Moses and nailed it to his cross. This was a second curse of the law, because it hanged on a tree also. What law from God has he ordained that the Jews live by? The law of Christ of which they whole heartedly reject.

John 10:16 "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

Now we begin to understand that Jesus abolished the law of Moses in order to bring the Jew and Gentile together into one fold.

Gal 3:26-28 "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus......For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

Now we are getting somewhere; having been born again spiritually by baptism into a spiritual kingdom where there is neither Jew nor Greek, but all one in Christ. The testament and kingdom of Christ is spiritual and not earthly as was the law of Moses and the kingdoms of Juda and Israel.

Gal 3:19 "Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator."

The law of Moses was added to what? Because of the wicked state of the world, God did not destroy the earth by water again. He chose one man Abraham that through his seed Moses, gave written laws in addition to his unwritten laws to the patriarchs, to serve until the ultimate seed of promise through Abraham would come, that is Christ.

Rom 2:28-29 "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:.....But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

We as Gentiles are as Paul says, Jews inwardly, that is, the spiritual seed of Abraham by a cleansing of the heart by Christ (spiritual circumcision) and not the cleansing of the literal flesh. Paul says, that circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith which works by love, Gal.5:6

Gal 3:29 "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Remember that there is but one fold, neither Jew nor Greek, but all one in Christ being of the seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise. The promise was given to Abraham centuries before the law of Moses.

Gal 6:16 "And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God."

There you have it, we now as obedient Jews and Gentiles together into one fold are the Israel (Jacob) of God and the spiritual seed of Abraham.

Earthly and heavenly Jerusalem:

Isa 65:17 "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."

As early as Isaiah, the prophecy was made regarding new heavens and a new earth. What does this have to do with Jerusalem? Jerusalem was the federal head of the Jewish economy and for centuries God directed his people from there. As the spiritual law of Christ replaced the earthly law of Moses, so has the center of government been replaced, that is, from earthly to heavenly. We shall see this more clearly in the next verses cited.

Gal 4:21-31 "Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?.....For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman......But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise......Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar......For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children......But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all......For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband......Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise......But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now......Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman......So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free."

We will analyze these verses one by one:

Heb 12:22 "But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,"

Here Paul is showing that Mt. Sion ( Zion) is in heaven where Christ is reigning on the throne of David and to the heavenly city of Jerusalem, present tense.

Rev 3:12 "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

Rev 21:1-2 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea......And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

The holy city new Jerusalem that will be coming down from God cannot be compared to the old earthly one.

2 Pet 3:10-13 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up......Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,.....Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?.....Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

On the day of the Lord which is his second coming, he will come as a thief in the night. The earthly Jerusalem and all the earth and heavens will be burned up. The false teachers and their followers who want to be in the kingdom that they say, will be established upon the earth when Christ returns, will have to wear asbestos suits.
